Moody's kits contain all the parts needed to build a complete guitar pedal with high quality and at a good price. The circuits are often inspired by pedal classics but are not direct clones. Each kit includes a "modification kit" with which you can change the basic circuit and find new sounds. If you have a collection of components in your drawer, and don't need the complete kit, it is also possible to pick parts and circuit boards freely from the online store. Or why not buy a "kit without a box" and combine with one of our lacquered boxes.

A well-written step-by-step manual describes how to assemble the pedal. First, components are placed on the circuit board and soldered, and then cables are connected between the board and the other parts of the pedal. The manual can be downloaded from the kit's presentation page or from Downloads.

The manual gives suggestions on how to modify the circuit and describes which components do what with the sound. Use Moody's component selection or choose the values yourself and find your unique sound! A bag of modification components is included in each kit. Under "Downloads" there is a more detailed modification guide for most pedals. To make these mods, you may need to supplement the kit purchase with the purchase of loose parts.

In addition to a soldering iron, it can be good to have access to a straightener and a cutter. The cords that come with the kit are not stripped. The work is made a little easier if you have access to a good set of pliers.

The construction requires a little patience but no direct prior knowledge of electronics. The kits have different degrees of difficulty which have been estimated by the number of components in the circuit, how tightly they fit on the board and how many pots and controls the pedal is adjusted with.

Design the box yourself! The boxes are not lacquered. Choose the color and paint yourself, put on a sticker with a couple of layers of clear coat on top. It will be gorgeous! Stickers with motifs are included in most of Moody's kits. The alternative is to buy a transparent A4 sticker "pedal label" and make a motif yourself and stick it on.

Box without drill holes. Do you want to drill the holes yourself and place controls in other places? No problem. Write it in your order email or buy the kit without box and box separately.
